CALL FOR ENRICHMENT VOLUNTEERS!
After school enrichment is a unique opportunity for us to provide additional learning and social opportunities for our kids - from arts to sciences to sports to music. Not only does enrichment provide an additional hour of fun activities and learning for our kids, a portion of the program fees go to support our school. The opportunities are endless as to what we can do through enrichment, but we need your help!
Enrichment is 100% made possible by our amazing PTA and organized and managed by one of our parent volunteers. As we look to step up our enrichment programs and the experience of the participants in the next session and beyond, consider getting involved and helping shape the amazing programs available to all of our scholars.
Parent Engagement Coordinator: responsible for helping to draft and execute parent surveys for ongoing feedback, and liaising with the classroom parents to market programs and get grade-level specific feedback. Expected to attend (1) 30-45 minute enrichment meeting every month.
New Enrichment Development Coordinator: responsible for identifying and bringing in new vendors and programs based on parent and student survey feedback. Expected to attend (1) 30-45 minute enrichment meeting every month.
After school Enrichment Support Coordinator: responsible for organizing parent volunteers (see below) to help ensure a smooth transition for all enrichment participants after-school. Expected to attend (1) 30-45 minute enrichment meeting every month.
After school Enrichment Support Volunteer (5 needed): these volunteers will arrive at school 15 minutes before the school day ends and stay 15-20 minutes after the bell rings to ensure all enrichment students make it to their programs; resolve any issues with the instructors if/when they arise; and act as a POC with the vendors if there is a larger issue. Parents can choose to volunteer one day a week for the session (ex. every Wednesday after-school) or as many days as you like, but we're looking to staff at least one volunteer every school day.
